who we are
We are a non-profit and emerging children’s book publisher. Our mission is to excite kids about groundbreaking science by creating innovative picture books that combine both stories and science. There are many science books targeted for older elementary and middle schoolers, but much fewer that reach preK-2nd graders, especially written in picture book format.
what we do
create
Our team has experience in both the research and editorial world. We research groundbreaking science topics, break them down in ways kids can understand, and write stand alone stories based off these science concepts. In the end, the science is revealed and further explained.
publish
As our own publisher, we have the freedom to be hands-on throughout the whole process from brainstorming and working with illustrators to marketing and controlling our own timeline. In the traditional book industry, we stand as an open-minded place that welcomes all ideas. We will launch our books in bookstores and on Amazon.
talk
Our goal is to not just to publish a book, but to spread the excitement of science to as many students as possible. We will partner with researchers to create book talks to present at elementary schools and libraries. We will also create educational resources and interviews posted on our website.
